Twilight Tattoo is an hour-long sunset military pageant that features Soldiers of the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), troop, and ceremonial units: The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, The U.S. Army Drill Team; The U.S. Army Blues, The U.S. Army Concert Band, a soloist from The U.S. Army Chorus, and vocalists of The U.S. Army Band Downrange and The U.S. Army Voices. This event is FREE and open to the public. No tickets are required. Pre-ceremony live music begins at 6:30 PM. 1812 Overture Concert

This annual end of summer concert spectacular has become a favorite among Washingtonians of all ages! This special evening features classical, popular, and patriotic music selections. The U.S. Army Concert Band is joined by talented band vocalists, The U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, and live cannon fire by The Old Guard Presidential Salute Battery on the evening’s signature piece. Rain or shine! Inclement weather venue is Conmy Hall; adjacent to Summerall Field.

Celebrating America’s Army 2018: An Evening with Heroes and Voices is a FREE concert that illustrates the Army’s proud heritage, sacrifice and traditions to the American people. The concert captures the Army’s origins and impact on our history to include defending freedom and winning the nation’s wars. This special concert is an immersive program that incorporates music, video and live performances honoring the sacrifices and celebrating the contributions of our Soldiers, Department of Army civilians, Army families, and others who continue to meet the needs of our nation during some of the most challenging times in our history. America’s Army has a proud and distinguished heritage of valor, selfless service, and patriotism.

Saturday, Sept. 15 beginning at 5 p.m.: Special Evening Program Performance by active-duty Soldiers from The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” and the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard)!

Saturday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m.: Patriotic Music, War of 1812 Battle Reenactment, Ship-to-Shore “Bombardment”, Fireworks! Honors the bravery of the men and women of Baltimore during both the War of 1812 and World War I! The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” will perform Tchaikovsky’s “Overture 1812” alongside patriotic favorites by John Philip Sousa featuring The U.S. Army Concert Band, Chorus and Herald Trumpets.

The program will run approximately 90 minutes with NO intermission. FREE Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY starting on Thursday, November 1, while supplies last. Due to the high no-show rate for free events, more tickets are distributed than there are seats in the hall for each performance. Patrons without tickets are welcome at any advertised show at 15-minutes prior to show time if there is space available. We will do our very best to get these walk-ins into the hall to see the performance.
